Delete your account

In the app

1. Open VoxaType and go to Settings.
2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email hello@voxatype.com from the Google account you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my VoxaType account”. We delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm. If you write from another address, we will ask you to confirm from the signed-in one first, so nobody else can delete your account.

What is deleted

• Your account: your Google account ID, email address and name.
• Every sign-in session, on every phone.
• The cloud-minute usage counts and rewarded-ad records kept for the account.

Deletion is permanent: the account is removed from our database straight away. Our server logs never contain your email or name.

What is kept, and why

• A Pro subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel it. If you delete in the app, Pro moves to the phone you deleted from. Google Play bills the subscription: cancel it in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions.
• Recordings, notes and dictation history. These are stored only on your phone, never on our servers. Delete them in the app, or uninstall it.
• Your phone's own usage record. Each phone has a usage count stored against a one-way hash of its identifier, not linked to your account. To delete it as well, say so in your email.
