Terms of Service

The service

VoxaType provides voice dictation and free browser-based tools (such as Audio to Text) that transcribe audio you upload. The free web tools require no account and are rate-limited per visitor to keep them available to everyone. Because they run on free-tier infrastructure and a third-party speech provider, availability and response time are not guaranteed.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload audio you don't have the right to transcribe, including copyrighted recordings you don't own or have permission to use.
• Upload illegal content, or content that harasses, defames, or violates someone else's privacy.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, file-size limits, or upload validation — including via scripted or automated requests beyond normal personal use.
• Use the service to build a competing product by systematically extracting or reselling its output at scale.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, or attempt to access it in ways not intended by the provided interfaces.

Your content

You retain all rights to the audio you upload and the transcripts you receive. VoxaType claims no ownership over either. See the Privacy Policy for how uploaded audio is handled during processing.

No warranty

VoxaType is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Transcription is AI-generated and can contain errors — review output before relying on it for anything important. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any given time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VoxaType is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on inaccurate transcripts or service downtime.

Access and termination

We may limit, suspend, or block access for anyone who violates these terms or abuses the free tools, without prior notice.

Changes

We may update these terms as VoxaType changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
