Frequently asked questions
Does it separate different speakers?
No — this produces a single continuous transcript without speaker labels. For quickly recalling what was discussed, that's usually enough; if you need per-speaker attribution, you'll need a dedicated meeting-transcription product.
What meeting recording formats does it accept?
Both audio and video — MP4, WEBM, MOV, MKV, AVI, and 3GP for video, or MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG, and FLAC for audio. Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams recordings all work directly, whichever format they exported.
My meeting is longer than 20 minutes — what do I do?
Trim it down to the segment you need first with Audio Trimmer or Video Trimmer (both lossless, so quality won't suffer), then transcribe the shorter clip.
Is it free?
Yes. It's free with no account required, limited to a fair-use number of transcriptions per hour.
Is my recording stored anywhere?
No. It's processed in memory during transcription and discarded immediately after — never written to disk or a database.
